Living Well With Rheumatoid Arthritis
Living Well With Rheumatoid Arthritis is a free 60-minute class taught by the patient education specialists in the Patient Education Center in the Siebens Building, Subway Level, that includes classroom discussion and facilitated dialogue. Class content includes an explanation of rheumatoid arthritis, including information and strategies to help patients make healthy living decisions related to nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and moderation or modification of activity. After attending this class, you should be able to:
- Describe nutrition strategies to help with rheumatoid arthritis
- Describe the importance of physical activity
- Identify strategies to manage stress and practice relaxation techniques
- Identify strategies to moderate or modify activity
